Unibet Review
Unibet is a huge brand, better known for its sportsbook and casino than its bingo product, but that’s not because their bingo product is an after thought.
As the flagship brand of the Kindred Group, Unibet have huge resources and that is on display when it comes to the quality of their games and the value of their offers and promotions.
Another huge benefit of playing here is that it’s one of the few sites running on a bingo network you might not have tried before.
Since 2021, Kindred Group have also owned Relax Gaming, a company with their own bingo network which all Kindred Brands including Unibet now use.
Kindred don’t have many UK focused brands, which means that only a few sites available to UK players run on the Relax Gaming network, so it feels totally fresh and original.
It’s full of great bingo rooms too, so let’s get stuck in and have a look at what they have on offer.
Bingo Rooms
If you like your bingo to look good, then Unibet is the place for you.
The graphics here are much better than on most other networks, with most rooms being themed around different sports such as football, Formula 1 and others. Don’t worry is sports aren’t your thing though, it’s just the backdrop of the room, it doesn’t have any impact on the gameplay.
The 8 different bingo rooms are all based on 75-ball or 90-ball games, and most come with progressive jackpots too – and some can be worth over £100k if the past is anything to go by.
What I like about these jackpots, is that they pay out on a sliding scale. At other networks, you need to achieve something almost impossible to win the progressive. Here, you can win more by achieving the seemingly impossible, but you can still win something if you don’t.
For example, get a full house in 42 calls or less and you might walk away with 6 figures, but achieving the same in 50 calls might still get you a 3 figure win. So the progressives are more flexible at Unibet.
There are set prizes too, and most rooms have game structures that pay out on additional lines so the prize pot will be shared out among more players.
There are other special rooms too, such as the Penny Room which is the cheapest of the lot, and the Diamond Daily which is the most expensive. There’s a lot of variation in terms of ticket price and game structure so there is something for players of all persuasions here.
Tournaments
Something you don’t see much of is bingo tournaments, but they exist at Unibet.
The tournaments are mixed between bingo and slots, but different ones start regularly.
Bingo players are awarded points for each win:
- 1 line – 3 points
- 2 lines – 4 points
- 3 lines – 5 points
- 4 lines – 6 points
- Full House – 7 points
There are cash prizes for winning these too, from £50 right up to £1,500, so if you play a lot you may as well opt in and see how you do. It doesn’t cost anything to join in.
Website Design
Since Unibet is also a huge bookmaker and a casino, the site is a lot bigger than bingo players may be used to.
This might be a little overwhelming at first, but once you know the route to the bingo games it will take no more than a few seconds to get to them from the homepage.
When you log on you will be on the sportsbook by default. However, the main title bar menu holds a link to the bingo section, so you just click that and the bingo page will open up. From there, it’s plain sailing.
There is a search bar but you don’t need it, all the rooms can be displayed in a row or two, so there isn’t really any navigation to think about. The easiest thing to do in open the bingo lobby and you get a detailed view of which games are coming up next, how much they cost, and how many players are in the room already.
Once in the room you can add additional rooms and hop between them, so in effect you play two rooms at the same time, and the bingo rewards wheel is accessible from inside the rooms themselves too, so if you have access to rewards you don’t need to navigate away to claim them.
It’s a brilliant site if I’m honest, and not one that bingo fans should feel intimidated by because everything has been designed to be as intuitive as possible.
How to Deposit and Withdraw
Banking Method | Max/Min Deposit | Max/Min Withdrawal | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Debit Card | £5 | £15 | Up to 1 Day Processing |
Skrill | £10 | £10 | Up to 12 Hours Processing |
Paysafecard | £10 | n/a | Use Other Method |
Bank Transfer | £5 | £15 | Up to 1 Day Processing |
Once again, the benefits of playing with a big company come to fore here.
Unibet are partnered with plenty of big payment providers as you can see in the table above, and they can afford to run their payments system without charging you, the consumer, for the privilege. So there are no fees to be found here.
The absence of Paypal might be a turn off for some, but there is always Skrill in its place, as well as instant bank transfers, debit cards, and Paysafecard. Limits start at £5 minimum deposit too, so you can get access to a huge brand on a tiny budget.
Processing times are very fast for withdrawals too, usually just a few minutes, but even the stated maximums are low.
Plus, account balances are protected in the event of insolvency above the minimum requirement laid down by law, so Unibet is a secure place to play too.
How to Contact Support
Being such a big brand, you might expect Unibet’s customer support options to be much better than average.
Bizarrely, they’re not. That’s not to say there is a problem here though.
For a start their Help section is full of answers to all of the most frequently asked questions, and plenty of less frequently asked ones too. It’s categorised and searchable so it’s very easy to find the info you need.
They used to have a live chat, but for some reason they got rid of it, so now you will have to use one of these options:
- Phone – 0800 329393
- Email – info@unibetsupport.com or use online contact form
The team are expertly trained and always give great service.
The UK Gambling Commission gave Unibet the license number 45322, which you can see on their website if you want to double check their legitimacy.
Take my word for it though, this is a safe and secure place to to play bingo.
