Mirror Bingo Review
Everyone in the UK has heard of The Mirror. It’s the daily tabloid newspaper known as one of the red tops, and is famous for its left wing politics. There is no room for politics on the bingo site though, this place is all about getting away from the real world and having some fun.
The company that own The Mirror is called Reach plc, and while they are involved as a partner in terms of owning the brand, the company running the site is the well known Jumpman Gaming.
Jumpman took over the site in 2020, which had run on Playtech’s network up until that point. To be honest things had got stale on the old network, so Mirror Bingo definitely feels like it has had an upgrade.
This site itself is laid out in the exact same way as all the other Jumpman owned bingo sites, so it will be very familiar to anyone who has played on this network before.
This is a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. On the one hand it’s not very interesting when all sites look the same, but on the other, it’s a breeze to use and you will be able to log on and get down to playing bingo in just a few seconds.
Bingo Games
All games are sorted using the scrolling menu bar, so you will need to navigate to ‘Bingo’ before seeing the different rooms available.
There are 10 to choose from, all offering something a little bit different to one another, and all offering cheaper or more expensive tickets depending on your preferences. This is great because it means the site can be all things to all people: if you want lots of cheap tickets and aren’t too bothered about massive prize pools you can find them, but if you are happy to spend more for the chance to win more they have that too.
The majority of the rooms are 75-ball or 90-ball bingo, but you can find some 80-ball and 35-ball (or speed bingo) as well.
It’s the range of games that I think people will appreciate at Mirror Bingo. Games like Animingo use animal faces instead of numbers, and includes a Pick a Pic additional feature that gives extra chances to win. Then there are traditional 90-ball games like the Super Heavy Weight room which costs 25p a ticket but has £3,000 worth of prizes to be won per game. Plus a progressive jackpot.
Most of the rooms have a progressive jackpot actually, and only two rooms share a single pot, the rest are all unique to the room in question. Lots to get excited about!
Slots
If you also enjoy slots and other casino games there is effectively a mini online casino bolted on to the site.
I say ‘mini’, it’s not exactly small with around 1,000 games to choose from, but it’s not a dedicated casino or slot site.
With that many titles though, and given that the game library is constantly being updated, the site certainly feels alive and energised with plenty to do. You can spend a very pleasant 30 minutes just browsing the games and noting down the ones you want to try.
Aside from the multitude of different types of online slot, you can play loads of Slingo, scratch cards/instant wins, traditional table games like roulette and blackjack, and get access to a live casino with some really interesting gameshow style games. It’s hard to describe these but they are super easy to play, have a live presenter (usually in costume) and a studio set – they are loads of fun.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Banking Method | Max/Min Deposit | Max/Min Withdrawal | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Debit Card | £10 | £10 | 2.50 withdrawal fee |
PayPal | £10 | £10 | 2.50 withdrawal fee |
Neteller | £10 | £10 | £2.50 withdrawal fee |
Skrill | £10 | £10 | £2.50 withdrawal fee |
Paysafecard | £10 | n/a | Withdraw Via Other Method |
Pay By Phone | £10 | n/a | Any Other, £2.50 Fee both ways |
The elephant in the room here is the £2.50 withdrawal fee. It’s not great to see these days when hardly anywhere else charges fees, but then again, for the range of payment options and offer and the overall quality of the site… it’s not a huge price to pay.
Being able to pay via phone bill is an unusual option that some people will love, although this costs extra too, but there is something to suit everyone here.
This shows the strength of Jumpman’s connections in the bingo industry and further afield, which inspires confidence.
Contacting Mirror Bingo
The good news is that you can contact Mirror Bingo 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They have a really good FAQ section too, so you might not even need to contact them to get the answer that you need.
If you do, you will be limited to email or the online contact form, which is the same thing in real terms. They would prefer you to use the form as far as I can tell, but if you want their email address, it is:
- support@jumpmangaming.com
As a white label of Jumpman Gaming, Mirror Bingo are operating on their license too. You can find it on the UK gambling Commission’s website with a license number 39175.
