Lucky Pence Review - Not Recommended

In December 2024 United Commissions (part of the Rank group) sold this brand and others to Broadway Gaming.  Broadway have historically shown predatory practices towards both promotors and players and so we can no longer recommend this brand.  Fortunately Rank still own their own brands and we suggest if you want a good service you look at those, such as Mecca.

The beauty of online bingo is that it can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be.

There are rooms where tickets cost 50p or £1, but there are also rooms where tickets cost as little as a single penny. Well, as you might have guessed from the name, Lucky Pence Bingo is an ideal destination for players who prefer to spend pocket change.

There are rooms with more expensive tickets, but the majority here can be played for just a few pennies per card.

The site launched in 2019 so it has had the chance to build up a loyal following since then, and with Broadway Gaming Group behind the wheel, it’s a site that can be trusted and relied upon.

The site is one of the cleanest around with absolutely no clutter and the easiest navigation system you could imagine. This isn’t the only reason you will like it though, because they also have a huge casino slot section and absolutely loads of high value rewards and promotions, including a trophy style loyalty package.

It’s the bingo you will be most interested in though, so let’s cover that first.

Lucky Pence Bingo Rooms

There are a lot of different bingo rooms at Lucky Pence, all laid out clearly and in open space.

To be honest, the interface is a bit bland once you navigate to the bingo area, but only in regards to room selection. The games themselves are anything but.

It’s easiest to talk about the bingo here in three different categories.

Play for Money

The typical style of online bingo, where you buy however many tickets you want and then play to win a monetary prize based on how many tickets have been sold.

Most rooms sell tickets for 2p or 5p, but there are occasional 15p options thrown in there with bigger prizes too. Sometimes these are fixed pots too, which means you could get lucky and sneak in to a quiet game with less competition and still stand to win the larger amount.

Some of the cheaper rooms even have progressive jackpots that can be worth tens of thousands of pounds, and there are daily free games too, so there is loads to play for here.

Play for Free Spins

This is a novel new way to play.

Instead of playing for cash prizes, you play to win free spins on slot games linked to the bingo game. So you can pay 2p per ticket and win 50 spins on one of the great slots the site offers.

If you think that each spin costs 10p, you’re really playing for £5 worth of spins on the slot in question.

Play Exclusives

For bingo rooms you won’t find anywhere else.

These rooms are more specialist and will tend to have much bigger prizes available. There is even one room costing £1 a ticket which can potentially pay out up to £1 million!

You’ve got more chance of bumping into Elvis than winning it of course, but the fact that it is possible is amazing for a bingo prize.

Deposits and Withdrawals

It’s all very simple in this department, with just two payment methods accepted:

Banking Method Max/Min Deposit Max/Min Withdrawal Notes
Debit Card £10 £5 2 Days+
PayPal £10 £5 2 Days+

I really don’t see this as an issue, since everyone has a debit card, and anyone who really doesn’t like using it has Paypal as a 2nd option.

Some people prefer other methods but is it really that big a deal? I don’t think so.

Who are Broadway Gaming Group?

Broadway Gaming

You might have heard of Dragonfish, the bingo network associated with 888 for such a long time.

Well, at the end of 2021, 888 sold their bingo interests to the Broadway Gaming Group, who took on all of their bingo sites as well as the Dragonfish network. Lucky Pence was one of those sites.

The network had been running for a very long time, so by playing with a Broadway Gaming brand, you are getting access to a bingo network that has plenty of experience behind it and expertise in the driving seat.

There are hundreds of sites using Broadway Gaming’s network as their bingo provider, and this means their rooms are always busy. So expect plenty of chatter in the chat rooms and bigger prizes to be won.

Broadway Gaming launched in 2010 with their flagship brand Butler’s Bingo.  They now have around 30 bingo and casino brands of their own, whereas the others running on Dragonfish’s network are white label brands, owned by someone else but buying in their bingo services from Broadway.

Contact and Help

Lucky Pence Bingo COntactThere is a handy chat icon on every page at Lucky Pence, so help is never far away.

They are available 24/7 and answer quickly too, which is all great, but in my experience, they aren’t always the most helpful.

Simple queries will be dealt with no problem, but if you have a slightly more complex question they might struggle to comprehend.

On the plus side, the live chat connects you straight away, no FAQ to go through first, it tells you your position in the queue, and there’s a handy bell noise when the operator responds. It’s great because you can get on with other stuff knowing you won’t miss their replies.

You can contact them via email as well:

As you would expect, the company are operating under a full gambling licence with the account number 58267.
