Loony Bingo Review
You have to be a bit of a loony to love bingo as much as us lot, so whoever came up with the name for this site couldn’t have done much better.
Loony Bingo was actually launched as part of 888’s bingo portfolio, but when they sold their bingo assets to the Broadway Gaming Group in 2022, Loony was part of the package.
I have to say, I think the site and the network as a whole has improved since the sale, and I will go into detail as to why below.
It’s not just a bingo site, it has a small casino built into the platform too so there is plenty to do here. When I say ‘small’, that’s only compared to dedicated online casinos – there are still well over 500 additional games to browse.
It’s a colourful site with a quirky edge that won’t cause you or your internet browser any problems, and the bingo games run like clockwork throughout the day with some fab prizes on offer.
The Website is Super Simple
One of the problems with big brands that offer bingo is their websites are so big and packed full of other products that they are unwieldy.
Just getting to the bingo section can be a bit of a chore.
Because Loony Bingo is a specialist bingo site with nothing else except a casino section, it’s so so easy to use.
It has clear menu tabs and filtering options, and most of the time you can see all of the bingo room options on a single screen. Obviously if you are using mobile their will be more scrolling to do, but not much.
The layout makes choosing your game or bingo room fast and fun, although I will say the pop ups recommending certain games can get a bit annoying. They will probably turn this feature off, I haven’t seen it before.
There is a search bar if you want to search for something specific rather than browsing, so all in all, they seem to have thought of everything.
The Bingo Rooms
There are around 20 different bingo rooms running at Loony Bingo.
You’re looking at a mix of 90-ball, 75-ball, and 52-ball variations, but within that there are other elements which make all of the rooms distinct.
Some run every few minutes for modest prizes, others are more of a big deal and only run once a week but promise 4 or 5 figure prize pots.
There are free bingo rooms, cheap bingo rooms, rooms with built in jackpots and progressives – all sorts. And of course, all the rooms are themed to keep them light hearted and amusing.
These all run on the Dragonfish network, so you can expect them to be busy most of the time, although there are usually enough people to make it fun even if you play early in the morning.
The Casino Games
I know not everyone is interested in this side of things, but if you are, you will be pleased with what’s on offer here.
Expect 500+ slots from developers that can genuinely claim to be the best in the business. There are video slots, jackpots, instant wins, and even some slingo which is a bingo based game mixed with elements of online slots.
Slots can be great fun but they will generally burn through your bankroll faster than bingo. Then again, the amount you can win is also generally higher.
The games list will be updated with new titles regularly, so you won’t easily tire of what is available.
Making Payments
Here are the deposit and withdrawal options at Loony Bingo:
Banking Method | Max/Min Deposit | Max/Min Withdrawal | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Debit Card | £5 | £5 | |
PayPal | £5 | £5 | |
Apple Pay | £5 | n/a | Bank or Card |
Bank Transfer | £10 | £5 |
Not a huge amount but there should be an option to suit most players in there.
The limits are fair and affordable too, so while they could go further here, I think they have done enough.
Is the Site Safe?
Since it runs as a white label of the Broadway Gaming Group, Loony Bingo has to operate to the highest standards when it comes to safety and security. It’s a condition of the gambling license they operate under.
Your personal details and any banking information is therefore encrypted to the same level as online banking, so no one can get to it.
Any site with a UK Gambling license has been checked and verified as a safe and secure place to play.
They have safer gambling tools that customers can use too, such as deposit limits and time outs etc., and their deposit protection level is higher than it needs to be. This is in reference to how safe your money is with them if they should close down, so they do more than they are legally obligated to do in this area.
Contact Details
Live chat and e-mail are the only options available if you need to speak to someone art the site.
It’s a 24/7 service though, and the live chat is usually answered in a few seconds in my own experience, with operators eager to help.
Here are the details:
- Live Chat – Accessible onsite. Look out for the icon at the bottom of the screen, or look in the main menu.
- Email – support@helpbingo.com
Lastly, you can check the current status of their gambling license by going to the UK Gambling Commission website where you will also find Broadway Gaming Group’s office address.
