Glitter Bingo Review - Not Recommended
In December 2024 United Commissions (part of the Rank group) sold this brand and others to Broadway Gaming. Broadway have historically shown predatory practices towards both promotors and players and so we can no longer recommend this brand. Fortunately Rank still own their own brands and we suggest if you want a good service you look at those, such as Mecca.
Alternative sites on the Dragonfish network:
Welcome to Glitter Bingo, where you are sure to have a sparkling good time.
There is a distinctly disco feel about the branding here, and the whole site feels fun and upbeat which is exactly what you want from a bingo brand like this.
It’s a typical themed bingo site. It cuts through the noise and gets straight to the games, with loads of bingo on offer and even more in the way of slots.
The site is mobile friendly with no app download required, support is available 24/7, and the site has been live since 2012 so it has a reputation to uphold. Longevity is a really good sign in the online bingo industry – hundreds of sites close so when one survives this long it means their customers are happy.
Although the site runs on the Dragonfish network via Broadway Gaming, the brand is owned by The Rank Group, a huge listed company in the UK. This is further reason to trust them.
More importantly for players though, the site is nice and easy to use with plenty to see and do, because it’s the experience that counts after all.
What Type of Bingo is Available
You will find a nice mix of bingo variations here, with 90 ball and 75 ball obviously taking the lions share of the action, but 52 ball games can be found too.
Many of the rooms also have additional features like a progressive jackpot or additional prizes, so they are good fun to play.
The site runs on Dragonfish software and operates as a white label of Broadway Gaming Group. This network is one of the busiest in the industry, with well over 100 sites contributing to player numbers and the size of the prizes.
So while it might not have much in terms of unique bingo rooms, the quality of the games and reliability of the experience more than make up for it.
There are of course unique elements to rooms running on the Dragonfish network, but with so many sites using the network, you tend to see them a lot.
I counted at least 20 different bingo rooms, all offering something a little different. It might take a while to decide which is your favourite, but you’ll certainly enjoy yourself as you explore.
Loyalty Based Free Games
Traditional loyalty schemes have mostly gone the way of the dinosaurs, but bingo brands like Glitter have come up with some clever new ways to reward customers who keep coming back.
For instance, alongside the free bingo rooms that anyone can enter, there are more that become unlocked the longer you have been with the site.
This means loyalty is rewarded with more free bingo.
There are other rooms that stay unlocked based on how long ago your last deposit was, so it’s not all about length of service, and some of these free games have prize pots of £1,000!
There are other ways to earn rewards too, such as winning trophies for spins on a prize wheel, as well as traditional offers that come up from time to time.
It feels like there is always something extra to look out for at Glitter Bingo, and I love that.
Making Deposits and Withdrawals
The payment terms and conditions are more than fair here, with low minimums and good levels of customer funds protection.
Payment methods available are:
Banking Method | Max/Min Deposit | Max/Min Withdrawal | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Debit Card | £10 | £5 | 2 Business Days |
PayPal | £10 | £5 | 2 Business Days |
Apple Pay | £10 | n/a | 5 |
Bank Transfer | £10 | £5 | 2 Business Days |
Be aware that with withdrawal times here are Glitter’s maximum processing timeframes. It will usually be quicker than this, but obviously, they can’t control how fast or slow your payment provider is once they have processed your withdrawal.
Casino Games
Like all other bingo sites, Glitter has plenty of online slots to keep you entertained aside from the bingo.
There are at least 500 of them and they come in all sorts of themes and styles, so there is sure to be something that tickles your fancy.
I like a good jackpot slot and there are loads of them here. They are progressives so the jackpot amount is always changing, but you are more likely to see tens of thousands than hundreds of thousands. I actually prefer this as it feel more attainable – but I’m probably kidding myself.
You won’t find traditional casino games here, no roulette or blackjack, and I know this will be a positive thing for a lot of players who find those games a bit serious and boring.
There’s nothing boring about the instant win games or Slingo titles though.
Contacting Customer Services
We all need help once in a while.
If you find yourself with a question or a problem and you can’t find the answer anywhere else on the site, you can easily contact Glitter’s customer services team.
Your options are:
- Live Chat – Onsite
- Email – help@bingosupport.com
Live chat is really easy to find using the speech bubble at the bottom of the screen or via the main drop down menu. What’s more, the interface is super helpful. It tells you your position in the queue and also uses a notification sound when the agent responds.
This stuff is only minor, but it’s great for managing expectations and not leaving you in the dark.
If you want to double check their gambling license is valid (and good for you doing your due diligence if so), you can see their license number on their gambling commission page.
