Bingo.com Review
Bingo.com are one of the brands operated by Platinum Gaming, part of The Kindred Group. This is a massive gambling group with brands operating all over the world. They are bigger in the rest of Europe than in the UK, but they are a major force in the industry nonetheless.
For bingo players, this offers a long list of advantages such as more rewarding bingo games, greater choice when it comes to payment methods and contact options, and better terms too. In short, the brand can afford to take more chances and provide more stability.
This is why you can also find such a long list of promotions and additional benefits, and they even run slots tournaments for those who venture into the online casino side of things.
Back to the bingo though, and Bingo.com run on their own network, called the Relax Bingo Network. This is also owned by Kindred, so if you play here you will be sharing bingo rooms with players at Unibet and Kindred’s other brands offering bingo.
It’s a brilliant place to play, one of my favourites, although I would say it’s a website that feels more mature than those from companies like Jumpman. It’s not all cutesy or in your face with a theme, it’s just a very well put together site with fantastic products that is incredibly user friendly.
What Kind of Bingo Do They Have?
Although there are 8 different bingo rooms available at Bingo.com, they are all either 75-ball games or 90-ball games.
This is brilliant for players who tend to stick to more traditional formats of the game, because it means there are no other niche variations taking up space and pinching game features.
All the rooms are themed, but the themes are very simple, usually just a change of name or colour, there is nothing cartoony about them. They all have their own unique game aspects though, such as 2TG prizes, or BOGOF tickets, or a mini-wheel with additional prizes off to the side of the game.
You can expect lot of progressive jackpots too, some paying out on a sliding scale of how quickly full houses are won which means the money is spread between more players. In other words, it can pay out big money (over £100k!) for wins in under 42 calls but might pay out several hundred for wins in under 50 calls. There are smaller fixed jackpots available too, on the same games, so loads of chances to win.
The ticket prices range from 1p to £2 depending on the room you play in, and prizes for lines and full houses are fixed for each game, so the number of players won’t affect it. Tactical timing can be to your benefit then.
Casino and Live Casino
Like most other online bingo sites, Bingo.com also provide a casino and live casino which players can use alongside, or completely ignore if they have no interest.
If you are a fan of slots though, there are more than you would ever need at this site.
Bingo.com’s owner, Kindred, run loads of dedicated casino brands so their contacts in this area are best in class. This means they can extend the same quality offering to their bingo site.
You can expect brand new headline releases, a wealth of old favourites, and plenty of games from indie sized developers too. They will span all styles, themes and game features, there will be some whopping jackpots to hunt for, plus instant win scratch games, table games and even exclusive titles.
The live casino is provided by both Evolution and Pragmatic Play, so there are absolutely loads of options in there. Bingo players aren’t known for their love of games like blackjack, poker or baccarat, but the game show style games may well appeal to you.
In short, whatever you want from an online casino, you’ll be able to find it here.
Banking and Money
Banking Method | Max/Min Deposit | Max/Min Withdrawal | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Debit Card | £10 | £10 | |
PayPal | £10 | £10 | |
Paysafecard | £10 | n/a | Use Debit Card |
Apple Pay | £10 | n/a | Debit Card |
Bank Transfer | £0.01 | £0.01 | No Limits |
One benefit of playing with a brand owned by a huge gambling group is they can afford to support a multitude of payment methods.
They don’t need to charge fees for them either, and in some cases you can even deposit and withdraw as little as you like without penalty.
So if you want to withdraw £4.50 via bank transfer you can. They have the right to step in if you are wasting their time with 10p withdrawals every few hours, but that’s fair enough.
They offer a good level of deposit protection too, so you don’t need to worry about leaving money in your account for extended periods. Although I would always recommend withdrawing large amounts as soon as possible just in case.
Contact and Support
This is a bingo site that is happy to hear from its players, which is why they offer so many ways to get in touch.
The categorised and searchable FAQ is exceptionally good and probably a quicker way to solve most queries, but if you really need to speak to someone you can choose from:
- Live chat – Available onsite via ‘Help’
- Email – support-uk@bingo.com
- Phone – +442045253550
The phone line is available from 7am to 11pm and live chat is listed as being available ‘all day’. Does that mean 24/7? Who knows. But it should be at least as long as the phone line opening hours.
I would say Bingo.com provides one of the best support services in the online bingo industry. Phone support is incredibly rare with online bingo.
They are of course licensed by the UKGC, under the name Platinum Gaming, and their license number is 45322.
